I started making jewelry when I was a little girl. My father made "real" jewelry as a hobby and I grew to love all the natural gemstones he would use and he taught me about many of the popular gemstones. My mother would take me every week to our local craft store to buy tubes of seed bead (They were 10 cents back then) and I would spend hours making seed bead jewelry. As I grew up I got interested in other hobbies like painting and decoupage, which I now incorporate into my jewelry. I went on to marry, help run our family business and raise two wonderful boys. Eleven years ago my sister made a few pieces of jewelry for herself and I joined in with her. I started buying so many beautiful beads and quickly realized I still had an overwhelming passion for making jewelry. So, with my husbands blessing I am now making jewelry full time. It is the one thing I enjoy the most, besides spending time with my family of course. I started off with beading jewelry, then found metal clay and loved the freedom of creating something uniquely mine. So, then came polymer clay, ceramic clay, metalsmithing and now my favorite is enameling! I'm learning leather crafting as well. I love mixing my creations with quality gemstones, pearls, artisan glass beads, and tons of other beads. I want as many people to enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it.
